1985 Chevy C10
"Dad's old Truck"
BUILD INTRO | Dad’s Old Truck
This one runs deeper than steel and wheels.
Back in 1984, my dad traded in his Firebird for this truck—the year before I was born. This truck carried our family through my entire childhood. It was always there. Driveways, back roads, hardware store runs, and everyday life.
Years later, it became my first vehicle. I only drove it for a few months, but that was enough. It was more than transportation—it was connection.
Then life happened.
The truck got parked. Forgotten. The earth slowly started to take her back. Rust crept in. Time moved on.
But some things don’t stay buried.
We pulled her out of the yard and decided it was time. Time to honor the memories. Time to respect the history. Time to give her a second life.
This build isn’t about perfection.
It’s about legacy.
It’s about where we came from.
And it’s about carrying that forward.
The journey is just beginning.
Project: Dad’s Old Truck
Vision: Restore • Revive • Respect the History
Built with family, for family
Let’s bring her back.
1985 Ford F150
"Eff 1Fiddy"
BUILD INTRO | Jaxton’s Bullnose
This one started at the bottom.
Jaxton bought this F-150 for $200, pulled straight out of a guy’s yard where it had sat for decades. Forgotten. Sinking back into the earth as time tried to erase it.
But Jax saw something different.
While everyone else chases the same builds, he believes Ford bullnoses are the future of squarebodys—and this truck is proof of concept. This isn’t about following trends. It’s about setting them.
This build will be loud.
It will be low.
It will be bagged.
And it will be uncommon.
No shortcuts. No copy-paste builds. Just vision, commitment, and a willingness to build something most people overlook.
This truck won’t blend in.
It won’t be mainstream.
And it definitely won’t be forgotten again.
Project: Jaxton’s Bullnose F-150
Vision: Slammed • Bagged • Loud • Uncommon
From $200 yard truck to straight-up badass
The journey starts now.

1975 Chevy Corvette
"Dad's Vette"
BUILD INTRO | Dad’s Vette
This isn’t just a car.
This Corvette was brought home with a purpose—not to chase perfection, but to bring the family back into the garage together. To take something that needed life breathed back into it and build it the way it should have always been… a little better, a little stronger, and built by family.
This is Dad’s Vette.
It’s not about horsepower numbers or show trophies. It’s about the late nights, the conversations, the lessons passed down, and the memories made while turning wrenches side by side. The garage is where this car comes alive—and where we do too.
We’re bringing it back to life the right way. Respecting what it is, improving what it can be, and making it something that reflects who we are.
Because this build is more than a project.
It’s what brings us together.
Project: Dad’s Vette
Built by family. Built with purpose.
Building memories, not just cars.
The journey starts here.
1974 VW Beetle
"The Boss' Bug"
BUILD INTRO | The Boss’ Bug
This isn’t just a VW Beetle…
this is The Boss’ Bug.
It belongs to the DeathGrip Queen, and if you know anything about her, you know this already — she gets what she wants. And what she wanted was a Bug with style, attitude, and a whole lot of personality.
This ’74 VW has just as much class as it does sass. It’s cute, it’s confident, and it absolutely knows it. It’s the kind of car that makes people smile… right before they realize it’s a statement.
Just like her.
This build is all about fun, flair, and doing things her way. No rules. No apologies. Just Boss energy on four wheels.
Project: The Boss’ Bug
Driven by the DeathGrip Queen
Cute. Confident. Unbothered.
Because even a Bug can run the garage.

2004 Lamborghini Gallardo
"Legend Lambo"
BUILD INTRO | 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo
This car was bought with a purpose.
It’s loud. It turns heads. And it gets attention everywhere it goes—and that’s exactly the point. It's the Local Legend Lambo. This Gallardo isn’t here to sit still or hide in the background. It’s here to represent DeathGrip, spark conversations, and bring awareness to the brand wherever it shows up.
In true DeathGrip fashion, we don’t chase perfection. This isn’t a trailer queen. This is a driver car—and driver cars earn miles, stories, and the occasional battle scar. That means maintenance, upgrades, and a little TLC along the way. That’s part of the journey.
This build is also a tribute—to hard work, long nights, risk, and believing in something enough to go all in. It represents progress, growth, and the reward that comes from staying committed to the grind.
It’s not perfect.
It’s not delicate.
And it’s not done.
Project: Legend Lambo
Purpose: Loud • Driven • Brand-Built
A tribute to success, hustle, and never playing it safe
This is DeathGrip—seen, heard, and earned.
2000 Chevy 1500
"Bub's Shortwide"
BUILD INTRO | Bub's Shortwide
Some trucks earn their place.
This was Jaxton’s first truck. The one that was always there when it mattered. Work, life, late nights, early mornings—this Chevy has been solid through it all. No drama. No excuses. Just reliability.
He’s always relied on it, and he’ll never part with it.
Now it’s time to take what’s always been dependable and make it personal. The foundation is proven. The future is where it gets fun. An LS swap is on the horizon, along with a long list of mods to turn this truck into something that’s unmistakably his.
This build isn’t about fixing what’s broken.
It’s about evolving what already works.
The journey starts here.
Project: Bub's Shortwide
Planned: LS Swap • Performance Upgrades • Personal Touches
Built on reliability. Finished with purpose.
Let’s build it.

2000 Chevy 1500
"Tonka3"
BUILD INTRO | TONKA 3
This truck came with a story before it ever came to us.
This 2000 Chevy Stepside once belonged to a family friend. When we picked it up, it still wore a license plate that read “TONKA 3.” Curious about the meaning, we learned it was a tribute to his late father—a name that carried weight, memories, and respect.
That mattered to us.
We didn’t buy this truck just to flip it or park it. We bought it with a vision. A vision to build something that’s fast, loud, and fun, while still respecting where it came from. This build will honor the legacy it carries, even as it becomes something entirely its own.
This isn’t about keeping it tame.
It’s about making it move.
Making it loud.
And making it unforgettable.
Project: TONKA 3
Vision: Fast • Loud • Fun
Built with respect for the past and an eye on the throttle
The journey starts now.
1957 Chevy 3100
"Garlands Revival"
BUILD INTRO | Garland’s Revival
This truck isn’t just another project.
It used to belong to our neighbor Garland. It sat right where it is for years, full of stories, miles, and memories. I bought it just before he passed away, knowing one day it deserved more than rust and silence.
This build is about bringing it back to life.
What was once parked and forgotten will become a slammed resto riding on air—low, clean, and done with respect. We’re keeping the soul, honoring the history, and giving it a second wind the only way we know how: in the garage, with family, and with purpose.
This one’s for Garland.
Let’s bring it back.
Project: Garland’s Revival
Vision: Slammed • Air Ride • Respect the Rust
Built by: DeathGrip Garage
Ride it. Build it. Live it.

1964 1/2 Mustang
"Ol Blue"
BUILD INTRO | 1964½ Mustang Convertible
Some builds don’t start in the garage.
They start as a vision.
I bought this 1964½ Mustang convertible 17 years ago with one goal in mind—to build it into the resto-mod I always imagined. At the time, the vision was there… but the money wasn’t. Life stepped in, priorities shifted, and the Mustang was set aside.
Quiet. Parked. Waiting.
For years it sat on the sidelines, almost forgotten—but never gone. The idea of what it could be never left. And some dreams don’t expire. They just wait for the right moment.
That moment is finally here.
This build is about finishing what I started. Taking the car I always wanted to build and doing it the right way—modern where it matters, respectful where it counts, and driven by passion, not pressure.
Seventeen years later, it’s time.
Project: 1964½ Mustang Convertible
Vision: Resto-Mod • Purpose-Built • Long Overdue
A promise finally being kept
The wait is over. Let’s build it.
